Baruch Business Brigades is a Chapter of the Global Brigades University Movement. At BBB, we follow the holistic approach to consulting, we work closely with our clients to understand their challenges and opportunities, and develop customized strategies to achieve sustainable results.

We offer a wide range of financial and business consulting services tailored to meet the specific needs and priorities of our clients. Our expertise includes financial analysis, business development, market research, and strategic planning to drive growth and success.

Since our inception in 2021, we have done 2 week-long successful brigades in Panama and Honduras. Due to all the positive feedback from clients and our volunteers, we will be expanding our brigades into semester long experiences to give a more detailed and personalized service. We hope to continue bringing a wealth of knowledge and insights to every client engagement, ensuring impactful and effective solutions.

Abstract Shapes

Analyst Program

Embark on a transformative two-semester journey with our Analyst Program. In the fall, hone soft skills like communication, presentation, and teamwork, while gaining essential tips on interviews, resumes, and networking. The spring semester focuses on technical skills crucial for finance and consulting—master financial statements, ratios, frameworks, Excel, case studies, and specialized loan analysis.

This program prepares participants for a Brigade (or Telebrigade), a one-week pro-bono consulting experience with small businesses abroad, offering real-world impact and establishing you as a globally-aware professional.

Mentorship Program

Join our Mentorship Program, a nine-week opportunity to receive guidance from a fellow peer who has successfully navigated internships and secured full-time return offers. This unique initiative offers one-on-one connections with experienced Baruch peers who can provide valuable insights into college resources, career advice, interview techniques, resume tips, and case study strategies.

Engage in regular weekly meetings tailored to your schedule, allowing for personalized mentorship over the course of nine weeks. Take advantage of this chance to enhance your skills, gain valuable advice, and build a supportive mentor-mentee relationship for a successful academic and professional journey.

Our Committees

Work Desk

Development

The Development Team’s primary role is to manage the analyst program by spearheading analyst workshop planning & resource construction, ensuring a seamless blend of slides, fun activities, and resources. We also manage the mentorship program, ensuring that all mentees have an insightful experience.

Marketing

The Marketing Team supports all BBB functions by capturing and showcasing events through photography, videography, and graphic promotions. In addition to creating compelling visual content, they are responsible for maintaining our website and managing social media platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging communication with our audience.

Fundraising

The Fundraising Team raises money for BBB’s yearly brigade by creating events, reaching out to small businesses, and managing fundraising logistics. The money that’s raised through fundraising is allocated to consulting small businesses abroad and helping them solve their business issues.

Internal Affairs

The Internal Affairs Team is dedicated to upholding the core values and operational integrity of BBB. With a focus on transparency, accountability, and communication, the committee strives to foster trust and professionalism within the club. Their primary role involves project management, planning, and execution of club events and projects.
